1-Teaching language is English.
2-Duration of study is five years: for (1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th years).br />
3-degree of study : Bachelor in Dentistry (BDS).
The College Council:
The College Council is the highest authority of the college. The Council holds
regular meetings to discuss issues that need decisions to be made at the level
of College Council or issues that need to be submitted to the President of
University or the University Council for authorization.

Summer training courses
For fourth and fifth year students
The courses consist of 6 theory hours plus 24 hours clinical training weekly for
9 weeks starting from 1st of July to 30th of September in the teaching dental
hospital in the college of dentistry/ University of Sulaimani.
A total Hours of summer training course for both fourth and fifth year students
is 540 Hours.
Immediately after graduation compulsory one calendar year (6 Hours daily, 6 days
a week) of clinical training in specialized dental center in Ministry of Health
(rotation) in the following branches:
1. Conservative dentistry (Operative, Endodontic and crown and bridge).
2. Prosthodontics Dentistry (Complete and Partial Denture).
3. Oral and maxillofacial surgery.
4. Periodontology and Radiology.
5. Paedodontics.
Total clinical training Hours are (1800).
